Not to be a Debbie Downer

I don't think you're being a Debbie Downer here. Foster vs Goodrich is a toss up for me. While I do think we need to take a quality QB in every class, I'm not sold on Foster and especially his fit in the new offense. Meanwhile, Goodrich is an extremely talented and versatile player at a position of great need. People can say what they want about us always being stacked at DB, but we're looking extremely thin at corner next year plus, we should probably be preparing for Greedy you enter the 2019 draft.

I can see that. I get frustrated with taking dual threat QBs, who we hope will magically develop as passers. I don’t know anything about Foster, though. He may be a terrific passer.

So would a full time special teams coach and not a guy who got fired from the Saints

What does this have to do with scholarships?

Your point was the one year kicker could improve our special teams and help us win games next year. My point was so could a legitimate full time special teams coach. Maybe our current kickers would be better if they were actually coached. If that were the case we would have an extra scholarship this year.

Goodrich would be the odd man out if Foster wants in.

The last update I saw is that we had fallen behind FSU, Bama, and another school.

What's the use? I don't see Orgeron's egg headed arse using a dual threat anyway.

Not going all in for Dan Mullen like I wanted to last year completely screwed us. Now we can only hope Aranda gets the nod after this year, or Chad Morris is up to coming here in 2020.

Goodrich needs to be left out if LSU can pull in Foster.

Tua looked like a stud! My prediction is that Saban stays long enough with Tua and once Tua is gone, Saban is gone. That kid looks like a once in a 10 year player! He good.... he real good!

Get Five-star Fulton back next year. I bet he secures the other cb slot next year. 2019 class is loaded. We will be alright at dB

Foster is an absolute take IMO....Very impressive. Accurate with a strong arm, needs clean up mechanics a bit to become more consistent on certain throws. But I likey, his high school chunked it around often too

Good thing we got that kicker for 1 year.

We would have won our bowl game if we had a kicker worth a damn on our team. It's not sexy, and it's Coach O's screw up if he didn't know the kicker would count against the 25, but we needed a stop gap to get us through next year while we go after the best kicker for 2019.

Man, this is just not true. We will find a way to get the kid on scholly if he wants to come. We can make a spot available even if we have to greyshirt another player that's already signed. We will finagle it and make it work if foster wants to be a tiger I promise.

There are three spots left counting Joseph who is committed but not yet signed. Period. No one already signed can be greyshirted. Once a player signs he counts against the 25 no matter how you slice it. We can only take three out of Surtain, Chase, Goodrich, and Foster. That having been said, it’s my opinion Foster is a long shot. I think we finish with Surtain, Chase and Goodrich.

I agree. I don't believe this foster kid would challenge brennan for the starting job this year anyway. If we cant make the numbers work to sign foster, then we need to take goodrich, chase, and surtain and be done with it and close with a damn strong class that addresses our teams needs more than anything else. We should not sacrifice any of the afformentioned prospects just to sign foster. Brennan will be our qb next season regardless, and I will take that over signing foster. Who in all likelyhood, will redshirt no matter where he goes. We are building this offensive scheme around brennan, and thats obvious. I believe that ensmingers style of offense is more suitable for brennan and immediate success for next year too, which is another factor in why I think o made the decision to let canada go. We will have a totally different offensive attack with brennan at qb. He is legit. Ensmingers approach to offense is way more suitable to the talent we have. We need to have some packages with a fullback like tony carter blocking for our running game, which will be more important in years past bc of the talent we had at rb, and have an abundance of weapons for brennan to utilize when we pass...including the tight end, and ensminger uses them very well. We have all of the talent in place to be a very effective offense. Moss at te, giles at slot, marshall wr, sullivan wr, dee anderson wr, netherly wr, chase wr, and others...get used to these names bc we will be slinging it along with a good running attack. Bet ready because we are coming like orgeron said. We have serious talent, like always, but we hve a legit qb to get efficiently spread the ball around unlike in years past. I'm excited about this offense.

2 missed field goals was the difference in winning or losing in the Citrus Bowl. We need a f....... good kicker.
