Hannigriff was criticizing O yesterday for not having a QB in the class, but I see that 247 has us as the clear favorite. What am I missing? The CB timeline on 247 has had us as the leader, so it’s not just about Tua’s performance the other night.

If he's still planning on visiting then we still have a chance. Problem is with only three spots left someone out of Surtain, Chase, and Goodrich is going to be left out if Foster wants in.

Tua looking like the future at bama must have him rethinking things right now. I really hate to turn down another great player but we need foster if he wants in.

The coaches know what Narcisse looks like in practice. If he's looking solid, probably best to pass on Foster. We need db's bc we're going to keep losing them early to NFL. There's certainly no way we pass Surtain or Chase, so we're talking Goodrich or Foster.

Nobody is taking Surtains spot. Period.
Its Surtain and Chase, then one of Goodrich / Foster.... IMO.

But I feel pretty confident that literally everyone else in the country would be told no thanks if it meant Surtain lost his spot. Chase, Goodrich and Foster would all be on the chopping block long before Surtain

I'm not just talking about Foster dip shite. ANY 4 year player is better than a kicker for 1 year.

We needed a kicker bad. I can almost guarantee you that it will make a significant difference in at least 1 game next season and probably 2-3.

Here is my question, why are we having these 4 on the same visit, im sure they have a good feeling about where they stand with all of them and 1 is going to be the odd man out here. Its looking like its Foster, so im just confused as to why they are bringing him in with the other 3?

So would a full time special teams coach and not a guy who got fired from the Saints

I'd rather have Foster than Goodrich. We can afford to have 1 less DB in this class. Need to take QBs until we hit gold. I'm sure Goodrich will be very easy to replace in next year's class and depth isn't exactly a problem at DB even with 2 already declaring. QB doesn't need to be talked about. Seems the choice is easy. Only way I see it different is Foster isn't seriously considering LSU in which case it would make sense to get Goodrich over him. I mean, we couldn't even sell anything to keep a homegrown great QB in this class. We're cursed.

I think Foster would get in if he wanted, at the expense of Goodrich.... Goodrich has just been giving more positive vibes as of late, but if that changes on Fosters visit then I think they'd take him.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but if the kid is the 15th ranked dual threat, then am I wrong in assuming he is probably a bit of a project in the passing department? I don’t know anything about the kid, but dual threat QBs always worry me because they seem to have more accuracy issues (on average).

I'm not particularly high on Foster, so I come maybe biased, but I'd rather Surtain, Goodrich and Chase to close the class, despite having somewhat a need for a QB. If we take a QB, I want someone who could actually provide quality depth THIS year because that's what we really need. I know he's a 4-star, but I feel like his chances of playing here would be very slim. Rather just go get 2 in 2019.

We don't have a lot of depth at CB. It's probably the thinnest position.

And Lewis is leaving.
