I would take Fidone and Trigg both and not take a second rb in this class.

This has been a totally different type of recruiting cycle for multiple reasons but an extremely interesting one as well.

I'm gonna say that part was certainly embellished. LSU needed a graduate QB that year, Nebraska didn't. Burrow had his chance to play at Nebraska, but picked OSU. By the time he transferred after spring camp, Frost had a full QB room and had already committed to having Martinez run the offense. Would've made no sense to bring in a QB that hadn't played and run off both the QB's he had recruited

You have the gull to say anything at all is beyond me. I live in Iowa City.. Y’all haven’t even beaten the Hawkeyes since 2014.

Just chill try getting above .500 before you talk about Burrow and the defending National Champs.

Who says he'd sit the bench for two years while at LSU?

I don’t know who. I’m saying that’s what we used to say about Bama. Now that we’re in Bama’s situation we’re discounting our old arguments and making the ones they used to make. They are all legitimate arguments. It just depends on which appeal to him.

Why would I own a seabird in Nebraska? Just saying, there's a big gulf between "our class is full" and "you're not good enough". Spring transfers don't always get to attend whatever university carte blanche. It's a buyers market. Taking Burrow in wouldve meant someone else on scholarship would have lost his. Doesn't mean it didn't backfire in hindsight.

That said, Fidone is going to be interesting. Right now its LSU and Nebraska, if his official to LSU happens sounds like he will schedule one with Bama and Michigan
