The person a few posts above said Nebraska has started recruiting other tight ends
I then asked does that mean they conceded him

Yep, Gilbert will be out wide more often than not. Fidoni will play early-if can block too.

This would be another chess piece for our OC and Passing game coordinator!! The receiving talent we are accumulating at all the skill positions is awesome but, more important, the talent we are now getting at QB to get them the ball means kick arse offenses for years!!

Nebraska TE room is 1 SR and 3 JRs, all have redshirted. They were always going after 2 TE this cycle.

Fidone grew up a Husker fan and is only an hour from Lincoln. If he visits LSU, they will make up some ground, but as of now I’d say 90% chance he’s a Husker. But he rarely talks about recruiting so who knows.

His dad played at Iowa, but they aren’t in contention.

No back 7 in America could handle Gilbert and Fidone in the formation

Would cover up a lot of QB shortcomings being able to toss it up to those two guys down the field. Open up some huge RB holes too occupying LBs and Safeties. Would be fun especially with the WR talent to go with it.

Read on hear somewhere that people better not count out Taylor. Young man can play.

I was thrilled with getting Taylor on board. Gilbert simply overshadowed him due to being a generational talent. Both will be beasts for LSU.

I wouldn’t see it as a bad thing to get trigg and fidone.

In 2021 we will only have Taylor and Gilbert.

Also, do we know if ray parker is solid at de? Him and Charles turner were catching passes at army all American game in practice.

Ray Parker is best suited for OT, however he wanted to be a TE and could not get his ball skills to where they needed to be. Alas he is at DE so we will see how that plays out.

I love how easily he caught the nose of the ball with one hand at the 00:59 mark.
