According to a source, LSU is on top for Sayin heading into this visit and I have logged a prediction for the Tigers on On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine. Quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan and Sayin have created a strong relationship and they are expected to spend a good amount of time together this weekend
quote:
Based on the latest intel, I like LSU’s position for the No. 16 prospect in the On3 Consensus. Alabama and Georgia are two other SEC schools Sayin is high on, but the school with the most buzz around it is the one in Baton Rouge.
quote:
He is a fan of the LSU coaching staff, and the consistency LSU has shown with him makes them stand out even more
quote:
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound signal caller from southern California told On3 not too long ago that a decision could come in October. That is next month. LSU is very high on Sayin and they have a chance to make another strong impression on the No. 2 quarterback in the 2024 class this weekend.

Yes, please. Kelly isn’t fricking around

Wow, that would be huge. They had been predicting Georgia. Sayin is 12th overall on 247 and 5th on Rivals.

Would be a great land. I find it interesting that Nuss, Howard, and Sayin are damn near clones of each other.

Hopefully much better than Hayden Rettig, just Sayin'

Les Miles isn't the coach anymore.

The way Kelly is recruiting I would not be surprised to see an LSU vs UGA rivalry soon.
When Saban retires Alabama will take a few steps back and will not be the same.
I could definitely see a LSU an UGA dominance period from 2024-2030 atleast.

This is huge if he chooses us. May be a reason Lagway is considering A&M and Clemson

If he comes to LSU New Mexico game. The writing is on the wall.

On the recruiting front, Sayin has mentioned multiple times that he would like to make his decision sometime mid-season, around October. A few quarterback dominoes have fallen in the ’23 and ’24 class and Sayin said he could move his decision up if he’s comfortable with it. “I’m not sure I’ll stick with waiting until October,” Sayin said. “It just depends honestly on how I’m feeling. I want to just go with my gut feel on where things are at and if I know what I want to do sooner, then I’ll definitely decide rather than wait until October just for the heck of it.”

He is scheduled to visit.

Wow! He looks great!
Beautiful deep ball, and has touch on short passes and zip when he needs it.
Great pocket awareness. Evades the rush while keeping his eyes downfield.
Nimble feet and quick with decent speed. He’s not Jayden Daniels as a rusher, but he’s at least Joe Burrow.
He runs a lot of spread formations, including stacked receivers.
I saw no weaknesses. I can see why this guy is rated so high.
Oh yeah, This is the first QB highlights I’ve ever seen that features an incomplete pass!

Is there film on him? His brother is an Ivy League QB. Why is he so much higher rated?

Yeah, go to the link in the OP and click on scouting at the top. When you see his sophomore highlights you’ll have no questions about why he’s rated so highly.

He’s not stupid either. Who wouldn’t want to play with Sampson, Brown, and company?

Holy shite if we land this kid.
If you want to build a championship program, these are the types of QBs you need to get every few years.

Good highlights. I noticed he is also a year older than a junior should be.

Georgia is in on damn near every top qb in 24 , so it’s probably easy to not feel like a priority there or not their “guy”
