Saban will pitch that Pendry is an ex-NFL line coach who'll get him ready for the league despite the fact that his Texans lines played like high schoolers.

Pendry produced some great lines in Buffalo and Kansas City, long before the fiasco that was the Houston Texans' offensive line. Regardless, I suspect Lindsay will commit to LSU. Would love to have him, but his ties to Baton Rouge are strong.

I, for the life of me, can not understand why these kids would even think about leaving home to go some place else to play, any sports for that matter, when there is a great school right here that produces pro calibur athletes. LSU is as good if not better than any other school in the nation. I'm for locking down our home boys first then go outofstate to fill the rest. There was a time when you saw an LSU team play it was filled with instate players. Yea there are times when you have to go else where to get what you need but instate first. These kids have to come back home and when it is time to work for a living I think it best for them if they had an LSU diploma over anyother, at least that is the way I see it!

LSU. Family is LSU fans, his sister goes to LSU, has been to LSU on numerous occasions. LSU is the team to beat, period.

:iagreewiththis:

My wife works/is friends with one of his family members that he is very close to. Their family is purple and gold bleedin' hardcore LSU fans. They would probably disown him if he went to Bammer.

Seriously though, I saw this guy about 2 weeks ago at a funeral here. The sister of my wife's friend (I think it was his aunt) passed away. Dude is freakin' huge.
He had been out on campus watching Spring practice before coming to the funeral.

I will be utterly shocked if he doesn't come here. And that's real talk...not being a homer at all.

Looks like a very good prospect. Glad to see that he has LSU ties. He might not ever be pretty but he will look good in PnG.

I'm not sold on Lindsey. Wouldn't mind if we miss out on him he doesn't seem like the typical Miles OL recruit.

I would respond to this but I have a short report due on super bias fan support. I'll get back to this later.

Miles has always seemed to recruit the leaner more athletic Olineman with room to put on weight. Lindsay, no offense to him because I'm sure he's a great kid, seems more like the soft/extra weight/fat variety. I'm not saying he can't add muscle and become a good college player, but it's not the kind of guy Miles seems to like.

I would have to comment that you don't have a clue. Lindsay benches over 400 pounds, squats 550. Lindsay will probably red shirt and then start at either LSU or Bama. Most linemen that come to college spend a year or three putting on weight and getting as strong as Lindsay is now before they can contribute. There is a reason why 20 schools offered Lindsay a scholarship.

FWIW, I'm sold on him; not that that matters much. The question is, is the staff sold on him? I've heard nasty rumors that he might not have a CO. I guess we'll find out soon enough!
