They must have the same "insider" contacts as the Texas fans

I just don't see the benefit of Alabama over LSU. What is in it for Randle?
Does he just dislike LSU?
I am not saying he goes to LSU but I have a hard time believing that he will go to Alabama.
Our QB situation is more proven, in his home state, friends on the team, etc.

if you dont see me post something, dont believe i said it.

i dont know what my brother is going to do, dont even talk to him about recruting. everyone he passes by wants to ask about it, so when i do talk to him we dont even discuss it

dmitch,

Your family seems pretty tight, and I am sure they will love to be attending every game your brother plays.

That's why I believe that when everything is said and done, he will choose LSU, because there is no real advantage that Bama has over LSU.

Some may say Bama offers early playing time, but LSU has the advantage on everything else, including the head coach (Not a knock on Saban, he is pretty darn good himself).

Just my $0.02...

Did you get Rueben's thoughts on Coach Miles showing up?
If so, can you share?

yeah got some things going on my way so i was concentrating on them. had not been around the boards since friday.

smoove called me and told me about the threads so i wanted to come on.

he did not say anything about miles, we just talked about the game itself.

i dont know which of the 2 games but its supposed to be one for sure.

Good comments! I coached in Central in 1972-73. Loved the community. Great people.

Okay Horndog. I'll trust you over his own brother who says he doesn't know where he's going. And you can't say he's lying. Because if he knew where Rueben was going he would probably just not come on here at all.

PS- Many of your Bama friends on the other boards do not share your view. Most stating they would be shocked to see him commit to Bama.

Horndog is an LSU fan and I'm pretty sure that was sarcasm.

If true- I apologize. My Sarcasm of Meter wasn't working properly.
I need to go find Professor Frink and get him to fix it.

It's hard to read sarcasm on here sometimes, it's not always obvious.

Maybe I'm giving him too much credit and he was serious.

If you were going by depth, then 2010 looks to be a good year and as you mentioned, we should be loaded by 2011.

Who's gonna coach em in 2011??

THAT'S the question.....

nah i think it was sarcastic in nature, my personal gut feeling is he ends up at LSU though, i would say like 75/25 but that is pure speculation on my part
