My opinion is just that, an opinion. I gathered this opinion from reading his quotes and articles about him for the last 2 years like everyone else.

Bama is in control of college football right now and their OL has been unreal. I think that recent history of the OL is what sways him most.

ETA:

I will say that if LSU kills it this year on offense and La'el and the boys play great and are highly touted by NFL people, then Cam will have a MUCH harder decision.

Cameron Robinson Twitter update My biggest fear with Cam is the season is stacked for Bama and heavily stacked against LSU. Bama has to beat 1 out of LSU and A&M. They do that and they go to the title game. Once there, they'll destroy whatever North team they draw and win 4 out of 5. Can anyone fault a kid for going to a school that wins 4 out of 5 national titles? Meanwhile LSU could easily drop 4-5 games with this gauntlet of the schedule. Not saying that happens and I'm thinking 1-2 losses is more likely. Just saying, I couldn't fault a kid for choosing them...and it makes me sick.

Man I thought the same thing up until this week. It just seems like something has changed. It's almost like Cam was just caught up in the whole Bama thing. It seemed like some of the people close to him were pushing Bama. Their QB was on twitter pushing hard for him. It was like everything was steering him there and he was just rolling with it. This week I think he was able to get away from all that outside pressure and just relax. He was able to hang out with the Louisiana guys and compete side by side with them. You know he openly admits to being a LSU fan and for the most part always wanting to play here. I don't think he is trying to save face or anything like that. I think after being here he remembered why he always wanted to play here. At the end of this I still think as long as his mom would rather him at LSU that is where he goes. I just think when it comes down to it if she tells him she likes the idea of him playing at LSU he isn't going to Bama. That is just my opinion.

+1 to all you said. I still think it's close, but I feel like LSU pulled ahead in terms of just recruiting and we do have mom on our side. I know they haven't totally distanced themselves from Guice and King, but it says something when mom gets them to back off

i heard from a super reliable source that he'll likely commit to the last place he visits.

I think this kid really likes both schools. There are people pushing him to bama back at home. He's following the process very well. I wish him all the luck in the world, and more if he comes to LSU.
