I look at it like this.

LSU has some young OL that are serious ballers. Is Cam Rob great? Sure. But...

LSU is in need of WR help more than OL help. If Bama is willing to place emphasis on Sims just to get Cam Rob, that might be a good move...for them. But for LSU, the focus is Dupre, Quinn, Noil, Fournette. Sims is a good receiver. But he's not Dupre, not Quinn, not Noil. And LSU is in a position where they don't have to offer him just so they get Cam Rob. Hawkins, Turner, Alexander, Pocic, other solid young OL talent are already here, and there's other solid OL talent that will be here in the next couple years. It's gonna be OK.

Bama lost a ton on OL. I don't know what they have coming thru the ranks, but apparently they are placing more emphasis on Sims than Dupre and others, because they need Cam Rob more than receivers.

Not saying if Sims goes to Bama, Cam Rob follows. Just saying...

I agree they're using him to get to Cam. But he is a solid player and is definitely a take for an SEC program. Shouldn't get "processed".

I wont freak out either, because I really doubt C.Rob is basing his decision on what Sims does. C.Rob doesnt seem like the kind of guy who simply wants to play with a friend, but rather go to a place he feels most comfortable with the coaches, setting, etc...

Sometimes things get too sensitive over here when a kid from LA chooses Bama simply because of Saban. Reality is they haven't gotten much success out of their LA kids they have gotten thus far since Saban's been there. Other than Lacy, who has been good at Bama for them?

Kenny Bell - Mediocre


All the other guys are still too young to really declare, but they are Bradley Sylve (3rd year this year), Landon Collins (2nd year this year) and Denzel Devall (2nd year this year) outside of the freshmen.

Sylve will never play except maybe ST. He was moved to db and is getting passed up by younger guys
