The more I think about this, the more frustrating and shitty this truly is.
Can someone tell me WHY Sims does not deserve an LSU offer? We had no problem going after a guy from NEW JERSEY yet a guy that would keep the top LA talent in the state and who could wind up a good WR later on down the road gets no love. If he doesn't become good? Who cares, he would have been in the same spot as Blacknall more than likely

"But numbers are tight to use up a scholarship just to help with another player" Robinson is not just another player. He is one of the top o-line recruits to ever come from the state and we are letting him walk because we wouldn't offer a 6'3" 4-star recruit.
Unless Sims flat out told us he wasn't coming to LSU then I really don't see why he does not deserve an offer to shore up what would have for sure been the best class at LSU ever

Recruiting - stud + frank >/= bama's
playing time equal
competing for championships - push...But I'll give bama the slight edge due to recent success
it's all about the relationship and I don't think it's possible for lsu to have a better one with Cam. If he truly chooses bama bc his friend is going there as the primary factor... there is nothing you can say or do other than LSU should have offered Sims if they really wanted Crob

Yep, Saban does a great job finding out "who" matters most, and telling them to leave home, and be a "man". He gets results, so got to give it to him.

That's the reason no one should be mad. Upset, really.. LSU did its absolute best without disrespecting itself. They have done package deals in the past, but I guess they thought enough of their chances to not have to do that. LSU fought a good battle..if Cam chooses Bama, oh well..good luck against us for the next 3 years.

LSU recruits more locally. Alabama has been hitting up Cali and the eastern seaboard a lot the past 4 years.

False. Blacknall is going elsewhere by choice, he had an offer at one point. Sims has never even sniffed an offer from LSU
