It would take a huge change of heart. I don't think Cam is the kind of guy to go back on his word. The EE just shortens the period of time for him to change his mind. Obviously this announcement isn't in ink, but it's pretty damn final in my eyes.

I think the fact that none of our OL in the past 5 or more years havent been drafted in the first 3 rounds and bama has had numerous OL drafted early is a big factor.

Would Bama have accepted Simms committment without CRob committment? With LSU not offering Simms and Bama using a scholly it just seems unlikely Simms wiuld have gotten a committable fr Bama without a CRob package guarantee.

I can't help but wonder about the timing of it all. I mean the day before LSU & Bama both play on a national stage? The whole thing just stinks IMO. You know it will be mentioned during both games giving Bama good pub and LSU bad pub. Very calculated decision it seems.
