If he lost the #1 and #2 players in the country from Louisiana in one year it would be very, very bad for his career. Those two guys combined will lead to insanely huge success on the college level if they stay healthy and it would haunt Les.
The fans would never forget that.
ETA:
Obviously wouldn't get fired, but that would be when "the fence is down" is no longer a joke. That would make me very nervous for the future and we'd play those 2 every year.

I think you could easily circle losing LF and saying thats when the downhill slide really started. LF is just that good

I'll say one more thing, this class was supposed to be great from the start and CR was always our biggest question mark, if he leaves the state he's the only one of this great class we have missed on thus far and he was the one we were most afraid of from the start...it'll be fine
