Cam East

His name was mentioned in a VIP article on 247 today entitled "Who could LSU offer next in Louisiana's 2022 class?"

He currently holds offers from UGA, Florida State, Arkansas, Mississippi State, and Houston. It's hard to look past his measurables, and the fact that he's an in-state kid at a position of need. Has anyone seen him play?

this is the kind of kid we absolutely can't afford to lose...

We 3D print athletes in this state to play WR and DB. We can't miss on an OT like this. That wingspan is absurd

Seriously. He's already built like an NFL OT, or at least has the perfect frame to become one.

And Mathieu, Trai Turner, Al Jones, Chad Jones (pre-Katrina), and countless other former Tigers.

St. Aug has been good to LSU.

Damn. An instate haul of Campbell, Jones, Bordelon and East would be excellent.

I think 2011 was the last time that Louisiana had this many SEC-caliber offensive linemen in the same class — La’el and Trai Turner signed with LSU; Greg Robinson signed with Auburn; and Ethan Hutson signed with Ole Miss.

I’ve heard/read that E. Jones is probably going to play guard at the collegiate level.

Interestingly, I’ve heard at least one project Bordelon as a Center for the Tigers.

Al Woods went to a tiny school called Elton.

St Aug is a monster Nola inner city school that is one of the better producers of talent in the country.

No “AL JONES” ... #1 WDE in the country , 2004 class
When he was a FR, he changed his name to Rahim Akir Alem

Al Jones and Chad Jones are brothers

This kid is raw as can be. He has no idea how good he could be once he gains 30 lbs and gets in a college weight program. His wingspan is incredible and he’s pretty nimble for a big man. If he’s able to camp this summer, I expect his stock will rise a great deal.

Hasn’t always been so. Prior to Nemesis Bates that well ran dry for quite an extended period. But glad this proud program is back onboard with staying home and sending us their brightest stars again.
