Did TB357 ever get reinstated? There's a reinstatement thread on the OT, I'll go add him just in case.
He's back!

Tigerbait, how good of a prospect is Wickersham?

Also, I don't think it was the 2018 class flo softball was referring to specifically. We picked up Emari Frazier pretty recently along with Presleigh Pilon. Frazier, she is a big time infielder out of Tennessee. She bats right and has a lot of pop in Her bat. Considered a top 50 player by everyone.
Pilon is a big time player out of California. She was recruited heavily by Oklahoma, Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama. She is a top 25 player. I expect her to continue to climb the rankings. This was a big time pick up.
Everyone should be drooling over this class of 2020. Potentially it could Beth best class ever. The more I look at it from a potential standpoint, there is a lot of potential. Also, Morgan Smith is a top 10 player, big time pitcher. Her pitches have already clock around 66 and she still has 4 years till college.
Beth's recruiting looking at the next three years are actually significantly better then some of her earlier classes. I will provide more info soon.

LSU needs to win a softball title soon.
They have a ton of talent and play in the best conference - SEC.
They have state of the art facilities for softball.
No reason they can't win.
Hopefully LSU gymnastics gets it done this year, if they compete out of their minds maybe they can knock off OU this year.
Baseball needs to make a strong run for #7 as well, next year will be a rebuilding year, they lose a lot on the mound and several mainstays in the lineup.

There is a tier of programs that are built to win titles on a regular basis. Oklahoma, Florida, Michigan, UCLA, Alabama, Washington, Alabama and LSU, as are a few more teams. Beth has taken this program places its never reached in actually a relatively short time. She is actually a very young coach that I expect to be here forever and always have us in contention.
These past couple trips to the CWS has been huge for this program. We are now becoming a much bigger brand than before. The LSU softball facebook and twitter page are one of the most followed pages in college softball.
Its tough enough as it is to get to the world series but its something else to win it. It takes a lot more than talent and coaching to win it. Some years the ball will just bounce the wrong way but for others you get that lucky roll.
Its pretty remarkable if you look at where we were as a program right as we hired Torina. We were lucky to have someone batting over .300, now we have an entire lineup with backups that can. We have true freshman coming in and doing it too.
I don't have much criticism for Torina, every coach makes mistakes and will continue to make mistakes. Above all Torina plays to Not one coach is perfect. I think the key for this program right now no question is at the plate against elite caliber pitching. Not saying we are poor at the plate but we can definitely improve. I am pretty excited to see Amanda Doyle, and Sydney Springfield continue to grow, as both will be offensive monsters at the plate for years to come.
Question, is there a recruiting class specifically yall would like me to touch on and give insight on players?

Whats unfortunate is OU really is down right nasty this year, I think it would be completely different if they didn't have Maggie Nichols, she gets almost a 9.95 minimum on like every event, its crazy. I am somewhat concerned about scoring going into postseason. I am already having issues with a lot of these judges throwing bullshite scores to a lot of the big gymnasts that have come in this year. Madison Kocian, Maggie Nichols (at times), Makayla Skinner, Kayla Ross, Amelia Hundley all get ridiculously over scored on a regular basis. Not to take away from them, they are fantastic. Definitely some of the best gymnasts out there. I feel like just big names are giving them the benefit of the doubt for getting big scores. Skinner is ok on bars, the other night she missed like two handstands, had leg separations, even had a major form break in the dismount and she still popped out a 9.95, it was ridiculous. I am praying that there is fair scoring going into super six this year.

What Is your opinion of Taryn Antoine (2017)? Also her teammate Madison Carruth was reportedly committed last year but isn't appearing on any lists, have you heard if she is no longer committed or if no offer was extended?

I think she would be the perfect replacement for Landry next year. She is extremely versatile, probably more a gap hitter but she can hit the ball out the park. She is very fast, she played for the Wichita Mustangs. She is ranked #41 player in the country. Haven't seen her play much but I have only heard good things about her.

Also Kennedi sister, Karrington Houshmandzadeh is committed to us, she is 2018 prospect. She plays OF, highly recruited prospect too.
Not sure exactly when she committed but I think it had to be around the time her sis committed.

she's terrible. Not lsu quality at all.
Edwards in 19 has flopped as well

Beth really needs to do something in regards to bringing in a pitcher. Sydney Smith looks good, but nothing else in the pipeline is inspiring.
Gorsuch was a beast and one of the best in the country, but after taking a ball to the face and having to undergo a lot of facial surgeries she hasnt been the same.
Wishersham sp? is just and never has been very good. Political recruit.
Edwards was amazing but last 2 years the talent has caught up to her and shes been getting rocked consistently.

Dude she has barely played in college and her last two outings she has improved, I am sure there are a lot of mental barriers she is trying to fight after getting nailed in the face. Would you not be somewhat scared?
She will get better as she sees more time.
Shelbi Sunseri out of Texas is a really good pitcher so its not like we don't have talent coming in

guessing you havent seen her pitch much, but Wishersham has a really flat ball and gets rocked.
I wasnt making a negative comment about Gorsuch, rather that she will need time to overcome that injury and get back to her old self.
look for a possible 2019 walk on named Josie Robertson... she'd likely be best pitcher we've brought in since Walljasper.
