Jeeze. You must really be new around here. I'm no Recruiting Board regular but even I can figure out that means the OP is asking analyst/reporter Jimmy D. Smith (aka Jimmy Detail) for any information or opinion he has on the announcement of offensive lineman Donavaughn Campbell which is set today at 9:00 a.m. Apparently, Campbell has been a long time commit to LSU but will make his "final" announcement between LSU and Georgia Tech today at 9.

Because some of them want that last little bit of publicity before they become a small fish in a big pond. Sometimes the schools want to let the recruit have their moment as a reward for showing what hard work can earn you...maybe use it to motivate some of the younger kids in their school. JMO
