Looks like Wisconsin has joined the race for Caleb Williams

quote:

Wisconsin has emerged as a true contender to land quarterback Caleb Williams, per On3's @HamiltonESPN.

According to On3's transfer portal rankings, Williams is the top-rated quarterback and prospect available.

This one is turning fast. Put my pick in for Wisconsin to land Caleb Williams earlier this afternoon.

Worked well for them getting Russell Wilson. Hopefully, he’ll go there and torment Ohio State.

I still wish he'd come to LSU.

Go to USC. Your dad will be our problem. Money-Money-Money. Look at the ride that was delivered to him. Video/pictures are easy to find

Wisconsin is potentially hiring an NFL guy as the OC.

Williams and his family are wanting to do what is best for NFL development.

Yeah, I've heard the dad say that.

They are hiring bobby Engram. He isn't really a known offensive coach.

He was a good wr and is now a tight ends coach. Weird that he is putting his career in the hands of Engram.

I didn't know Engram's son went to high school with caleb williams and now goes to wisconsin.

Still would've been better going somewhere else.

That's ridiculous

Love him to go to wisky, let's all laugh at USC

You really think Brennan would start over Williams?

I don't understand this whatsoever.

I didn't explain well.

A) Brennan would not start over Williams
B) Williams isn't going anywhere to compete for a job.

In this complete hypothetical he wouldn't be. Brennan would transfer. I would much rather ride or die with MB at this point. He has earned his chance.

If all were created equal I would take Williams but as stated, I can't imagine Kelly even pursuing him at this point.

He will get plenty of reps handing the ball off.
