False. Both were transfers
To say that Riley “developed them into Heisman winners” would also mean you’d have to say Ed Orgeron “developed Joe Burrow into a Heisman winner”.
Did you watch Murray at A&M and Hurts at Bama? The Offensive minded HC/OC absolutely developed them into elite quarterbacks/Heisman Trophy Winners.
The Defensive Line Coach obviously had nothing to do with the development of Burreaux.
Your whole argument is horseshite. Leading me to believe you need some attention.
Like I said: Celebrate!

No way he comes to LSU.

So the transfers just became Heisman winners despite Riley.

No way he comes to LSU. On the other hand, will SC be in the hunt for anything in the next two years?

Dean gets bad information a lot, and runs with it. I live in Oklahoma, he seems like a nice guy, but he’s wrong a lot.

USC will not do anything the PAC 12 is weak and with NIL and this horrible transfer shite the talent down south is just going to stack up even more on the teams with best chances to win titles and the SEC is not going to relinquish power again in college football not with these current rules.Lincoln is just building his resume and will be in the NFL within 5 years

quote:I doubt it too. But every little bit helps when negative recruiting. And again, Howard just came off a visit to Riley at USCw. Just introducing the possibility that we are pursuing Williams is an edge.
Eh, I mean maybe. That’s a hell of a leap to assume that Howard would transfer just because CW mentioned LSU.
And we don't have to get Williams for such negative recruiting to work. For example, if a recruit (Howard in this example) believes Williams that we're pursuing him, and we told Howard we are not privately. He COULD assume he is being lied to.
It really has nothing to do with who goes where for real. LOI or transfer... neither. It is about he-said/she-said, lying, and perception to erode maybe even damage a relationship (CBK & Howard in this case).
That's what all negative recruiting is about- doubt and erosion of the relationship. It's an uphill battle for Riley, so he would have to damage the relationship FIRST. Then and only then could he transition to changing minds.

I think that is BS and probably told to say this by his future coach, Riley.

Caleb Williams - Down to USC & LSU?
Has he been offered?

If he ends up at LSU, it's a headscratcher.

This was probably just leaked to get a better NIL deal from USC.
Exactly what I was thinking.

We need the dinosaur-to-dog “it’s Riley” meme changed to
“It’s Caleb”
“It’s Caleb”

Caleb doing what Riley did. Trying to get a better NIL deal from USC.

Hurts never won a Heisman and he actually looked like a better QB at Bama. Arguably his best season was his freshman season at Bama. For one, he was going against much stronger competition at Bama than he was at Oklahoma.
Riley did not “develop” either of those QBs. He put them in a system where good QBs flourish in a league that doesn’t play defense.
Murray has been an average NFL QB and Hurts is not doing well in the NFL.

Except not at all. Ed had nothing to do with quarterbacks. Riley called plays and worked directly with quarterbacks. This point is completely off
They were both “developed” by the time the got to Oklahoma. All Riley did was put them in a pass heavy offense in a conference that doesn’t play defense. He did nothing to “develop” them. Just like Joe Burrow was already “developed” when he got here. Because like you said, Ed Orgeron sure didn’t do it and neither did Ensminger because he was at LSU for how many years and our QBs outside of Burrow and maybe one or two others have not been good at all.

Brennan isn't that committed to us. He's committed to being a starter next year.
Ummm yeah because he’s been here for everyone of his college years and that’s the only year he has left to start at a college. I’d say he’s pretty damn committed!

Maybe “s” will get his highlighter out and draw up some sweet LSU gear.
