Wow... If Vol was right about the Rakim situation that means Kirby 100% played us. He knew he had Burton but said let's see if we can get them to process another. If I was Orgeron I would punch Kirby in the face next time I saw him. No joke.

There's no other way to put it. We wanted 4 WRs and we're going to take all 4.
Two of the top WRs in the country were verbally committed to LSU for months, and both burn us on signing day.

You realize we signed a kid ranked above Burton.
Geez, we are loaded at WR. Would have been nice to get them, but we picked up two solid players this year and next year the state is loaded with WR talent. It is all good.

I think he's at least as good as Burton but I think Rakim was the most talented. All 3 are not a big gap between each other though. Would've been filthy to have them all on the same field.
Gilbert will be another WR in this offense too and his ceiling is scary to think about.
