Yeah this is actually fricking ideal. UGA hasn’t been a serious contender for a minute. Him leaving the state for the weekend right after our in home looks great to me.

Bottom line, all the staffs - Clemson, UGa, LSU, and USC - feel good about their chances of landing Burch. And I’m sure they all feel good about their chances because the family is telling them things that lead them to believe they are getting him. Someone says he verballed to LSU previously. USC suddenly feels like they are getting him then UGa insiders say the same, all the while the Clemson staff feels like they have a good shot. Bottom line, three schools are getting played right now.

That we didn't want him visiting Clemson or South Carolina, but "compromised" with him by allowing him to take a visit to Georgia because he wanted to take one last visit.

This seems weird, but if true, seems even weirder.

It is weird. One could speculate that it’s good for LSU because Burch wants LSU and is following O’s request because he wants to be a Tiger.

On the flip side, Burch could be genuinely interested in GA as a compromise to keep his mom happy.

I’m thinking keeping mom happy could be the driver here.

Either way, I trust O is giving everything he has and he’s one of the best there has ever been at recruiting . If we get him great, if not, we still comin’!

Unless UGA can miraculously sway him with one last second visit, I don’t see this as a bad thing. If the rumors of Clemson/USCe being the leaders are correct, I’d rather him be at UGA this weekend. Who knows, though.

I mean we kind of swayed him with a visit......so you never know. I’d rather this visit than USC or Clem.... but Georgia is a great destination and close to him, so they can do it.

Interesting development. I don’t view this as a bad thing necessarily.

Nearly all recruits visit multiple schools. Is there something I'm missing here?

So if O tried to talk him out of visiting S.C. schools, might this of been s compromise struck with Burch? This may be a Quid-Pro-Quo if he is really silently committed to us.

Not very long if it means getting someone like
Burch on campus. Buy a plane ticket, book a hotel, tell the coaches to be on campus.
