no way they can back count 3-5 players to last years class. I think they took the full allotment of 25 last year.

I've got alot of concerns for the future of LSU football, fortunately DLine is not one of them.

As much as I would have loved to have this guy, it doesn't hurt as bad as losing a QB, LB, OL, or RB right now. Especially if you get Marvin Wilson.

Nah. What's ridiculous is you grown arse men crying so much even recruits are starting to notice. Its amazing how we even got Monty Rice with you guys bashing Dylan Moses so much that even he noticed.

Do you sit at home and weep over recruits all day? You win some, you lose some. Quit being so toxic. In the end, the world isn't going to stop spinning. I promise.

it's becoming more and more like that. It's like they want to go to Bama where they know that without really having to put out the effort they can still be given multiple NC trophys. It's like they don't want to face a real challenge in life so take the easy way out. They are afraid to man up and compete and instead want a national championship trophy for participating. It doesn't really mean anything to win because what challenges did you have to face?

well you have to have the recruits before you can win on the field. That's why I like players like Guice and Fournette who had the chest to come to LSU and compete dispite the long odds of competing aqainst an allstar team. If more kids these days had that kind of backbone built into them we wouldn't have these kinds of problems. Too many of these kids just want the easy way out and are afraid of real competition.,

We have had the recruits, but we failed to make it happen on the field. That is exactly my point. We have to win again or things will continue to get worse in recruiting. The coaches used to be able to say: "Bama beat us last year but we beat them the year before and won the SEC." Now, they can't say shite. It's getting harder and harder to convince the best to play at LSU instead of Bama.

He is humble and comes from an outstanding household where his mother put in the work. Say what you please about him, it's your opinion, but this kid has been a star since high school on the football field, basketball court and off the field. It's about competing year in and year out to win the ultimate prize and LSU is lacking in that department right now.

then why not go to LSU and try to be a part of bringing it back home instead of running off to the place he won't even have to compete to win a National Championship. Just show up. It shows no back bone, no fight in him.

You act like we are behind North Dakota St. in recruiting. We still have the #5 recruiting class in the nation and are still taking 10 players. Do you know how many programs would kill to have the #5 class or better consistently?

Its going to be alright.

We all know it's about winning and competing for National Championships. Sure you can easily go to any school and get to the NFL ranks, but how many schools can you go to and compete for a national championship.

Some people want to be handed a title. They want the path of least resistance.

Some want to climb the mountain. You act like this kid is a hard worker and will outwork anyone...yet you point to him taking the easy way out.

Those two things don't add up.

Going to Bama isn't the easy way out. You have to earn your spot on that squad and can easily be left hanging out to dry if you don't perform.

This line of thinking is like saying someone should work for a shittier company because working for the best company is taking the easy way out. That's dumb.

we were never at the level they were at but we were still close enough to compete and steal a game or two. Now the gap has just grown to large with them getting every top player in the country. What gets me is that that is what these kids want. That they don't really want a challenge or have to face adversity. They just want a trophy given to them that means absolutely nothing because they really didn't have to do anything to win it.

I guess Cam Robinson, who chose Bama over LSU was "handed" a title right? How about Landon Collins? I guess he was handed a title too? I could go on and on and on.

Now if a kid chooses bama that isn't very good, I could see him being "handed" titles, but last time I checked, the players I listed are part of the reason Bama has won titles.

You need to get your head checked. You make no damned sense.

The gap has grown between Bama and, well, everyone. You act like this is solely and LSU problem.

You sound like a dipshit honestly. They have to do absolutely nothing?!? Ask the Bama players that played us this year if they had to do absolutely nothing. You are a clown.

an that is it. You will have 5 stars line up both sides and behind you and on the bench waiting there turn. It's no real competiton, just make the team and you'll get the trophy. It turns the NC trophy into a participation trophy. It 's part of the pussification of America.

no it's not. It's like going to work for your competitors who have hired an allstar cast of employees instead of going to work for you home company and trying to make it stronger because you are afraid of the challenge.

What is a "home company"?
