Only school in Texas in the SEC, in state kid, oil money, nice facilities, program on the rise. As much as I like beating up on them, they are going to challenge us and Bama every year with their recent uptick in recruiting. Jimbo refuses to modernize his offense, so that will likely be what’s holding them back.

They will never beat Bama as long as Saban is there and Jimbo doesn’t change. Saban isn’t going anywhere soon unless he drops dead and Jimbo won’t change, so they aren’t going anywhere beyond what they managed this year. And they will have to fight us and UGA for that 2nd spot yearly with equal talent.

A good friend of mine is a big time Aggie booster. Told him before the Aggies joined the SEC that they belonged in the SEC but I also told him hope they don't because they have potential to be big time. The poster above me is right only school in Texas in the SEC which means they will own recruiting in Texas. So NOW Texas kids don't have to leave Texas to play in the SEC.

I didn’t say they would beat them, but they will absolutely challenge them and everyone else in the league. They’re recruiting too well to not be major players in the league. You know what you’re getting from them on offense. Jimbo has been running the same system forever and refuses to let anyone else call plays or modernize it. Now we’ll see how long they hang on to Elko.
