That is the worst use of “must get recruit” I’ve ever seen. In no way are either of these players a must get recruit

I actually like this better than orifice..I’m gonna start using it

Me too. I needed to go into the orphis today and get some work done, but I didn't.

I think it is going to be hard to pull the brothers. Think they are coming in town to a) see Herman getting trashed, b) tell him no after the game, and most importantly c) reaffirming their decision to go to Bama. Sad and true--we have not churned out any talent in the first round from the O line for over a decade. Collins could have been the last one (but everyone knows what happened).

Bruh, we just got a JUCO kid “D-Lew” and the last kid in his class, lowly ranked “Cushenberry” drafted in the NFL, by our Super Bowl winning “as an assistant”, National Championship winning, and Joe Moore Trophy winning O Line coached by Cregg....

We obviously have a damn stud of an O Line coach! It’s already paying dividends as LSU is set to land atleast 2 stud OTs this cycle.

Honestly I’d rather is vet the best high 4-stars from the upper Midwest and offer them a chance to play in the SEC

Texas/the south usually underwhelms when it comes to highly rated OLs. It’s the one position where the upper Midwest has proven to over perform star rankings.

Give me Wisconsin’s 3 and 4-star OLs over these “highly rated” Texas and southern OLs.

Look at the top olinemen in the draft, particularly tackles, and get back with me about the Midwest and Wisconsin olinemen being superior than those from the south. Georgia probably puts out more top olinemen than any state. Florida and Texas are fruitful as well. That Midwest and Wisconsin myth is fed by the what some view is the perfect and preferable lineman which has no basis in facts. And is proven wrong each year in the draft and CFP championships. Our guys just blocked for the best offense in college football history. Not a one was from the Midwest or Wisconsin. Go figure.

Not necessarily. Clemson and Bama are real threats here. If I had to guess right now and after what has been mentioned elsewhere I say Bama. But it is early and that is not written in stone...yet.

We did win the JM Trophy but according to Cregg himself, there was no change in the scheme. He admitted that D Lew and Cush really stepped up their game during the off season and that they were a lot more local leaders, which resulted in a better performance through the season. Fact remains fact---we do NOT have A LINEMAN in the first round. Until that changes, we will have hard time convincing O linemen to come here and get drafted in the first. That is also part of the reason why we have a DBU legacy--we continue to churn first rounders in the league. Want to know how many O linemen get drafted from Bama in the first? Google and you will know what Nick will tell dem brothers.

As far as "LSU is set to land atleast 2 stud OTs this cycle", we shall see. People on here thought Keyvon Thib and at one point Justin Flowe were ours to loose.

ETA- would absolutely love the Brockemeyer brothers. Though pull from UT, but that game in BR could spark a new coaching search in Austin leaving the Brockermeyers in a good spot for LSU...

I think the Brock family is just using this as a free trip to go see UT (dad’s school) play in a hard to get ticket game. I know that’s not what people wanna hear but I think they’ve always been 100% UT bound regardless of how well the football team does.
