Number one fullback nationally, right in our backyard. Yet doesn’t have an offer.
247 profile

Currently committed to Rice but seems like an easy flip.

Before anyone says any garbage about not recruiting/using fullbacks anymore - remember that both the Saints and Patriots both allocate 1/53 of their roster to the position.

So if Sean Payton and Bill Belichick think you need one, that’s a /thread.

Not enough numbers in a class like this to take him. It’s just the truth, when it comes down to it would you rather take a Donnel Harris, Evans, Guillory, Dumervil, Crawford etc. or a FB?

The TDP thing is more just throwing out an idea.

This is backed up by the coaches of two of the best 3 teams in football - make that all 3; the Chiefs have one too.

I bet he would contribute more than Finley. Let’s face it, guy is not a top-tier SEC QB.

He plays center at CHS and is being recruited as one. He would never play for a P5 school with his current body. No offense to the kid but it’s the truth.

Don’t use FB anymore. Just need TE. He can walk-on and maybe earn a scholarship when people transfer.??

They don’t have but four FB ranked in the whole nation.

Makes you reminisce about the I-formation

Again that’s nonsense.

The top offenses at the highest level of the sport still employ fullbacks.

Those offenses that use the FB in the NFL. How many of them were recruited out of high school as FB?

I honestly don’t know but would imagine these guys are blue chip RB or linebackers that make the switch. Heck even the Michigan FB that may get drafted is playing DL right now.

You need to come to grips with fact your kid is not getting a scholarship to LSU and you are going to be making 6 drives a year to Houston!!!

They have Tory Carter for another year, quit acting like they aren’t keeping a fullback on the roster. Numbers are too tight for this year, maybe next one they decide to add another.

I understand you probably love CHS or know the family personally but bringing a fullback is stupid. We don’t use one. We already have one. You are talking about dropping a qb to bring on a fb? That’s just dumb.

Even if you wanted a fullback on your roster, if you're using a scholarship to get one, you're doing it wrong.

Tory Carter has all but disappeared on the team after being a great contributor last year (which I have FBummer about). Good luck to the kid at Rice or wherever he ends up.
