Boy that kid looks great!!! Hard to imagine he was the 3rd option, but I have seen Ohio State play until the playoff.

Um, no.
3 college starts?
I don't think so. That would be stupid.

It's the system. Meyer's system makes these guys. I'm not sure Miller would be what you think he would at LSU.

It's actually a legit possibility. One conference championship win. Playoff semifinals and a national championship. 3 highly important games that he steps in and plays like a Heisman canidate. NFL teams already raving about his potential in addition to his 6'5 250 frame with 4.5 speed and a cannon arm

Meyer's system:
Josh Harris at Bowling Green
Alex Smith at Utah
Chris Leak at Florida
Tim Tebow at Florida
Braxton Miller at OSU
JT Barrett at OSU
Cardale Jones at OSU
His system is built for college success. That's an unreal list of college qbs.

Millers draft stock and production would plummet at LSU.

Leak was probably the least successful in Meyer's system as an individual.
I did question his QB evaluation when he brought in John Brantley and Jordan Reed. Jones FWIW fell in his lap. He's a Tressel recruit.

Miller's draft stock is not high. Those type of qbs have not panned out. Look at Johnny Manziel....nobody is taking a risk like that on Miller. I think him running the pro style can only benefit his draft stock. I'm not sure he'll be as successful with it though.

How'd getting Jeff Driskel work out for y'all? LaTech must have really put on the razzle dazzle.

He can't throw. Why would we get another 130 yd passing QB ?

False. Not the system. The oLine gives him good protection, and CJones has the time and ability to find an open man. Pretty simple.

Totally forgot Urban Meyer coached at Bowling Green. I remember Josh Harris had some ridiculous TD:INT ratio.
ETA: Just looked it up, must have been thinking of someone else
His numbers were good though:
2001: 81/132 for 1,022 yards with 9 TD vs 3 INT. 129 carries for 600 yards and 8 TD.
2002: 198/353 for 2,425 yards with 19 TD vs 11 INT. 186 carries for 737 yards and 20 TD.
2003: 325/494 for 3,813 yards with 27 TD vs 12 INT. 215 carries for 830 yards and 13 TD.

That 2003 year was legit. I think Urban left after 2002. I don't remember.

Lol I agree.
It's a wrap like Reynolds at Ohio State.

imo, this would be a delicate move. it could really piss off the other 2 qb's (and the team). bringing in "hired guns" from the outside is potentially a team breaker.
