I know that. I just used his first and last names separately in the post.

He's not a running QB like Miller. It's pretty hilarious how so many people would take Miller over Golson, when Golson has passed for at least 2400 yards both years, and Miller, has yet to hit 2100 in three years He has also had a shoulder injury, then tore his labrum and won't be able to pass until two-three months AFTER Golson graduates. He haz also had several other injuries from running so much, that has taken him out of games. Golson could head to LSU in the summer, work out with the team, get in on the 7 on 7 drills, and learn what he needs from Kragthorpe. He then has all of Fall practice and the first two games, two beat the other guys out.

OSU fans were getting tired of Miller's non passing skills. His poor accuracy (don't be fooled by his completion percentage) and decision making.

Miller in a bogged down pro style offense, running like an RB right into SEC defenses doesn't sound good to me at all.

Would make us a viable playoff team next year but long term would this do more harm than good?

Didn't stop Nick Florence or Bryce Petty from playing good one after another. Jeremy Johnson for Auburn doesn't seem like he will have any problems either next year.

Harris comes in as a junior in 2016, with two years of backup experience, added weight to his skinny frame, plus a good amount of knowledge after 3 offseasons with Cam. We will have at the very least #1 WR Dupre Jr, #10 WR Quinn Jr, #2 WR Johnson So, #4 TE Smith Sr, #5 TE Washington RSSo, #1 RB Fournette Jr, and #4 RB Guice So, as passing options with experience.

Depending on what Hawkins and Vadal do, we could bring back 3 to all 5 players on the OL in 2016.

So the guy has no excuse.

Nah you had made a mistake and that was cool. It's beside the point because I understood what you meant to say.

Miller is a way better player than Gholson. Problem is he's higher risk coming off major injury. I think he fits LSU system better because we seem to like true dual threats like Harris.

Although, what kind of message would this send to A Jennings and B Harris?

Get better?

If he does come down, I doubt Miles just hands him the job. Jennings and Harris need to compete or prepare to ride pine.

Harris would probably redshirt if Braxton comes and wins the job

Problem is LSU's offense does not need a dual threat. Dual threat QBs have hurt LSU far more than helped them.

You do know that Gholson is transferring because he was committing too many turnovers and got passed up by a freshman quarterback, right?

I like Gholson, too and think he would help the LSU program if he came to LSU.

But Miller is a better player.

In a perfect world for Les, every quarterback he brings in would be Matt Flynn talent wise.

Jordan Jefferson nor Anthony Jennings are close to the caliber of athlete Braxton Miller is.

Would good to see . We know he can play, so we can find out if it is the racquet or the racqueteer.

Who cares? They should have thought about that before playing like garbage

I rarely post... but I had a drink and randomly spoke with Braxton Miller and his uncle for about 30 minutes in the french quarter last week...

Dude sees and to a small extent is being swayed by the pro LSU tweets and coming to Baton Rouge is a real possibility.

So if twitter is your thing, you want Miller at LSU and want to feel like you helped, shoot him a tweet on why you think he would fit here and wish the guy luck in his future regardless.

Not sure if serious. Matt Flynn was an above average college player. He was pretty inaccurate at times, and definitely inconsistent. LSU can win with Mettenbergers because the QB is not a run first type of a player which actually hurts LSUs offense. When athletes who are very talented play QB and know they can run, often they don't go through every read and run too soon. The problem with Mettenberger is LSU often put him in position to fail. Prime example is Ole Miss game. Mett was not on that night, and was having a horrible time hitting his target. LSU refused to admit it, and instead of tailoring a game plan around a power run for the second half of the game, placed Mett back to pass far too often thus giving OM a victory. LSU just needs guys with game management skills.

I'm MrWiseGuy. I don't know Serious.

But Les wants a quarterback that can make plays with his feet and his arm.

Isn't that obvious? He just hasn't been very good at identifying that player.

That is because that player does not exist for his offense.

I wouldn't say doesn't exist.

Hard to find, yes. You don't have to convince me of Les' stubbornness.

Also his talent evaluations at the position have been poor.

He had Robert Griffin III, Tyler Wilson and Jordan Jefferson all at the same camp, and Les and the Wicked Wizard chose Jefferson.

Not everyone.
Some have the feeling in their gut.
Some see visions.
