Hope somebody can actually count the players on the depth chart by grade. Going into the 2016 season with 3 returning LBs is a HUGE problem.

Last list that was posted had 4 seniors with beckwith next year leaving then 3 returning.
Total break down in recruiting the position.

Good thing we'll have more than 3 then.

I thought it was somewhat telling when in a recent interview, Shea didn't really even know what the "Boys from the Boot" was. I think he just said mentioned "some picnic" or something. At the time, I was thinking that it did not even pay much attention to the invitation if he didn't know what it was called. I think the average LSU fan has heard of the "Boys from the Boot" junior weekend.

No LB depth in 2016 why i am glad chavis is gone. I want workers showing the young guys how to work. Recruiting is part of the job.

From the Shreveport Times today:

Sean Patterson, Jr., has not resigned from the LSU coaching staff yet, according to father Sean Patterson.

The father disputed a report from 247Sports.com in a text message to The Times.

The report said Sean Patterson, an LSU offensive quality control coach, is expected to take an offensive position at Ole Miss.

The father said Sean hasn't resigned or taken another position yet.

If it wasn't happening..he would have put more detail into him staying at LSU or more detail into not going to Ole Miss

Watch the Moore kid at LB. Word is he has an offer. Don't about a Steele offer though.

Anyone know anything about

Chattman
George
Thompson
Baham
Wilbon

Thanks to anyone with any info on them. Have heard of Wilbon but not the others. I'm usually good about knowing the kids but like Cutrer and Boutte a couple of years ago at this time, those kids are not in my database.

Indeed - Steele is too organized for that kind of BS to happen again.
