Nehemiah Augustus could put some weight on and be the next big thing at linebacker for LSU

It should've been addressed in this past recruiting class giving your LBs at least an extra year to develop. Instead LSU will be going into that season with 1 injury away from a disaster. It's almost like the QB situation all over again. You can't go years where you just don't fill the depth chart in that position. You need a development gap where they can actually sit and develop some. You can't expect true freshman LBs to come in and play.

Keep in mind you don't even know if the current guys will be on the roster by the time that season rolls around. Attrition happens. It was stupid not making it a higher priority in this recent signing class. Hopefully we sign at least 4-5 at the position.

Agree. Do doubt the guys coming back will leave on their own though. They are basically guaranteed playing time because of the lack of depth. Only way I see anyone leaving is if Garrett continues to have trouble adjusting or off field issues. Alexander is a Tiger through and through and so is Riley and Voorhies.

That lack of depth is why the talk of 3-4 is just ridiculous. You don't want to rely on a bunch of kids playing the position in a system most of them would have no clue how to play in. The 3-4, if it ever is the plan, will be a 3 year minimum transition.

Will a lot of Louisiana kids attend the junior day too? Or will they focus more on the oos recruits that weekend?

The swilling kid listed as a rb is also listed as a lb on some sites. Divinity, White, and some of those safeties could grow into lbs like Cameron Lewis and the McD kid.
