This is fantastic. We need to get that purple reign emoji for this board.

Incredible what the staff is doing in Texas.

Dude's good. Real good. Welcome to LSU Jhamon. What's good about this too is he can get in Dylan Moses' ear about coming to LSU for the next several months.

Ausbon: "It was a dream come true"

quote:
"People who know me know how much I love LSU,” Ausbon said. “Even my bedroom is LSU-themed. I have always loved LSU and been a big fan. I know there were people who were surprised, and that’s kind of because I didn’t tell a lot of people. Texas A&M is a great school and I am thankful for the coaches who recruited me, but LSU is where my heart is.

Pretty Sure Grant Delpit has been doing this for months now already lol.
This kid has incredible athleticism. I think he continues to climb in the rankings assuming he goes to some more camps. Videos of him from the Satellite camp in Houston were extremely impressive. His route running for his size is phenomenal.

This is what a great recruiter and the LSU brand can do! Does anyone know how much recruiting Aranda is doing? Seems like he would be just killing it out there with his reputation and him wearing the LSU shirt now. Idk how much he's out there though and maybe it will take a year for recruits to see what he does here. I think he will dominate out there if given the resources and money to go out and get who he wants. LSU should be letting him go nuts out there across the country! Him and Orgeron could fly east to west coast and just cherry pick.

Good grief. LSU is stacked with talent at WR. Theres no reason for Les to run a one dimensional offense. All the talent is there all around to have a balanced and explosive offense.
Looking at the roster for 2017 and beyond lends itself more to a much heavier passing game. With Fournette gone I expect us to cut back on the running a good bit. We'll probably pass it between 30 and 35 times on average.

We'll still be balanced

Myles Brennan, Jhamon Ausbon and Clyde Edwards are all on the same Elite 11 7on7 team in Oregon next week. This will be fun to watch and should be a preview of what a part of the future looks like for tiger fans..

Good info!
Would you happen to be related or know Brennan (be honest)? I'm asking bc every post you have made on this board, with the exception of one post, has had something to do with Brennan.

I am close to the Stanislaus program and have casual access to coaches, some past and present players and to Brennan occasionally.. I am from LA but living in Bay St Louis so I kinda know his story and I am a social acquaintance with his uncle. It's a small town and I am very interested in Brennans story and excited that he is going to LSU..That's it..

No doubt, but it won't lean so heavy to running like it has the past 2 years.
2015 - 64.6% run 34.4% pass
2014 - 69.2% run 30.8% pass
When it leans that heavy to one side, if you're not extremely efficent on the other side then you become one dimensional. The balance needs to be no less than 60:40 run:pass. I'd actually prefer something like 55% run 45% pass. On an average of about 72 plays per games you are looking at about 40 carries and 32 passes.
