Apparently the Manning’s adopted him. Or he at least lives with them. That’s why he transferred from Mcmain to Newman

Still wish we could get junior highlights of Decoldest because I think his and Johnson's senior films are going to be some of the best in this class.

Both progressed so much in their junior years and that will only translate to an even larger rise next year.

Huge get this early for this class in a kid who hasn't come close to reaching his ceiling yet

Personally, and this is just me here, I wouldn't mind a QB room where Manning and Howard battle it out to see who backs up Nussmeier.

Considering that we’ll still have at least Max or TJ for at least 2 years after this year, that put nuss as a junior and Walker as a sophomore fighting to start (if not sooner). From what everyone is saying, seems like Walker has far more upside, so he honestly could/will win out.

With that, let’s say we do get Arch. Most other top schools such as clemson, bama, and tOSU will still probably have their starting QBs with DJ from Clemson being the most likely of the bunch to leave early. Where that fits good for us is, unless Arch goes to Ole Miss or Tennessee, he probably won’t start as a true freshman so coming to LSU would be similar situation wise. Id red shirt him and let Nuss and Walker fight it out. You now have Arch for that extra year but far more developed and in the system. I think we sit perfect here and getting AJ and Bo will pay dividends

You been under a rock lately? I'm convinced a portion of our fanbase wants to sign 25 o lineman total in 2022 and 20023 because we were a little light on them in 2021.

We could sign the number 1 prospect every year and people would say," well can he play tackle?"

Don't get me wrong, if Arch wants to come here, then we take him, but there is no way both he and Walker Howard finish their college careers here.

Whoever becomes the starter stays, and the loser of the competition is guaranteed to transfer to another school. You can't tell me that either of these kids, who both have very high first round NFL draft pick status written all over them, will be fine riding the bench for 3 years while the other kid plays.

If they both sign here, then one of them doesn't finish his career here. It's that simple, whoever transfers would be a starter at 95% of the school's out there.

They aren't in the same classes. Walker Howard is a 2022 recruit and Manning is in the 2023 class. Would work out perfect. Johnson and Finley in the 2020 class, Nuss in 2021, Walker 2022, and Arch 2023.
