nicholls football team won conference in 2006 and has been a SLC contender pretty much every year recently

They won by 1 point while Bastrop had over 200 yards of penalties. I don't think it was obvious they were better that night by any stretch of the imagination.

Blake Matherne equals Brad Zeller (from Lutcher a few years ago) very similar players. Nicholls got a good player. He will do well there.
