Best OL since anyone.

Saw both whitworth and Robinson extensively in high school and neither are to his level at this early of a stage.

In two years he will be the number one left tackle in America barring some catastrophic injury.

Any chance he commits to the good guys early?

I really have no idea.

I am anxious to see his teammate next season who is 6'8" 340.

He will be a sophomore. We will find out if he is as good as people have insisted in Monroe.

Whitworth was a TE at this age.

Heard talk of him about a year ago.

Must get indeed.

Never knew Whit played TE. Not sure it’s fair to compare a kid who just turned 16 to these guys. Just hope he ends up in Baton Rouge

Dude is mean. Love it, though not sure if LT is his final position.

LaCroix didn’t even dress out for varsity this year. He’s big, but not agile.

I know it was early in the season this year, but he got absolutely schooled by STM d-linemen and STM was pretty weak at d-line this year.

He’s big, but he looked stiff and immobile when I watched him play.

I’m obviously not a college scout, just giving my .02.

Was named offensive line MVP at a Rivals showcase today.

quote:

Campbell is only a sophomore, but the offensive tackle showed great maturity and ability in this setting. He looked like the nice guy walking into the camp, but when a defensive lineman lined in front of him, he flipped the switch and was impressive. Campbell didn't win 100 percent of his matchups in the 1-on-1 session, but he won much more than he lost. Campbell already has offers from Alabama, LSU, Nebraska and Tennessee among others.

That's awesome. Would love to see him at LSU.

Like I said, I only saw him play once in person and he had an off game. And I was watching him pretty close because our coaches had told us all about him. Also, that was only the 2nd game of their season, so I'm sure he got much better as the year went on.

I'll get to see him again this year when we play at their house.

Campbell had mono at the STM game; last minute decision to even get on the bus. Nonetheless, you should ask Walker Howard about him...

Bring you glasses with you when you come to Neville. #66 is who you’re looking for. He’ll be the one dropping pancakes on the gridiron...

Thanks for the update Mr. Campbell.

I have to eat a little crow here. I just went back and rewatched the STM/Neville game. He did better than I remembered seeing. He was good on one-on-one blocks. It was the rest of the defense eating the o-line up.

Makes sense with the mono deal, I don't think he played most of the 4th quarter and I was wondering why.

Not Mr. Campbell. Just making sure the facts are on the table. STM did work on Neville's o-line; less the left OT. Yes, STM put a good ole fashion arse whoopin on Neville, but as you saw when you re-watched the film, they didn't get near the pressure on the left side.

This kid is a stand out and has been since he was 14. Here he is a Rivals camp yesterday.
