There are so many great talents in this class so far, but who do you think has the biggest impact next year? Personally, I have heard that Arik Gilbert is a monster and I believe he will make an impact on day one.

Idk who but I hope it is someone on the Dline. Could be Roy, or even Gaye. If we land Burch then he will certainly see the field and hopefully be able to make an impact.

IMHO-the biggest recruit, and I don't mean to sidetrack us here from the focus on this great 2020 class, is to get Jacoby Stevens to stay for another year.

Gilbert May be the biggest freak in this whole class. Not just talking about LSU’s class either. Nationwide, Going to be a nightmare matchup at LSU

Roy is gonna be an awesome 3-4 end

Burton, Boutte, Jarrett, and Moore all bring different skill sets to the table and will put up big numbers for LSU. Will rival Bamas junior class as the best WR class ever assembled watch

Josh White is criminally underrated he’s going to be the type of guy who gets a quiet 100 tackles in a year

Sampah is going to be a big time thumper at lber

Ricks obviously is incredible but people are sleeping on Burns. Dude is long as hell and has that dog in him too. That’s two legit 6’2-6’3 corners that can flip their hips and run

And we still aren’t done yet...

Watched Gilbert against Parkview this weekend. With that size, he could definitely be used as a hybrid WR/TE.

He’s bigger than my comparison, but he kind of reminds me of Orson Charles from UGA. Receiver in a TE body. Don’t think he wants to block, but will have crazy success if he can play TE and get the LB / Safety matchups.

Besides getting Jacoby Stevens to come back, we also need Patrick Queen and Jacob Phillips to come back as well. Jacob has over 100 tackles and leads the SEC. Its gonna be hard to get him to come back imo.

Clark can start next year so we don't need both.

I hope so but I have seen anything saying he is a day one starter in the SEC. I think he is going to be a stud but he will have competition at that spot.

All of these guys are good. But if they all left we would line up some good players in those spots. Damone Clark and Baskerville are ready. Donte Starks is on the roster. Marcel Brooks could play Stevens’ role, and we could get some help from freshmen just as we did from Brooks.

The offensive and defensive lines are another story. These positions take years before guys are ready. We could lose all five of our starting offensive linemen. We could not recover from that, and next year would be a write off. I doubt that happens, but if we can’t retain three of Cush, Ingram, Charles and Deculus we’ll have a hard time. Hines and Wire are plug and play, and we have Bradford, Kardell and Perry. Is Cameron Wire going to pan out? It’s doubtful that a freshman will be able to contribute much.

Our defensive line will lose some quality and depth with Lawrence and Fehoko. Will Shelvin go? Retaining him would be huge, and would give us a great rotation at nose. Logan and Farrell will probably come back, but you never can tell. If we lose only Shelvin we will have Ika, Farrall and Logan starting with Evans backing them up. After that we’re hoping Nelson Jenkins, Jarrell Cherry or the freshmen can stand in the two deep. But there is NO star power there unless we hit the bonanza with a freshman (and none of them are rated THAT high to be killers in their freshman season).

This will be huge. We need him anchoring that D-line with Ika.

As you said, OL returning is huge as well.
