It is kind of concerning that LSU has no top 100 players going into the early signing day. In recruiting, though, it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.
Among other players, LSU leads for Justin Watkins, Kelvin Joseph, Patrick Surtain and Terrence Marshall. Surtain and Marshall are top ten players, Joseph a top 50 and Watson in the top 75.
That easily moves LSU into the top ten for recruiting and adds impact players. I think if we add 4 top 100 players we nd eup with a very good class , not just an acceptable one.

This could not have been a better game for Justin Watkins and Terrence Marshall to attend. Any concerns these recruits had about LSU putting the ball up had to be alleviated.
If Marshall was leaning towards LSU as reported, this game had to sew it up. Not a bad game for his qb to see either.
This was a perfect game for recruits to attend.

Hopefully he is the first to hear that his like for this offense is about to be re-negotiated and be assured that his talent will not be wasted because the O will be to his liking.

O is a closer just like with Chaisson last year. Almost had Marvin if not for that fricking chicken.
