Are you saying that about Lance Heard, LSU=DBU (that he wants to be a Tiger, I mean)??

I think he’s still 16 or just turned 17

Correct, but I’m hearing there’s some baggage there and probably not going to happen.

But will just have to wait and see

Gotcha, thanks for clarifying.

LSU=DBU sounded pretty confident he wants to be a Tiger (if I understood his post correctly).

I just talked to him. Waiting on an offer. Strong possibility he’ll commit. 100% will commit if LSU offers Ajay Allen. Will Campbell staying in his ear.

Lance is 6’6” 305 with an 85” wingspan. Great kid. Turned 17 in October

Dam, 85” wingspan is massive. And by massive, I mean bigger than most NFL O-Lineman (avg. is like 80”-83” wingspan).

Honestly, I believe that measurement to be reasonably accurate. Because just watching him on film, you can tell the kid is tall (6’6” sounds legit) with long arms.

Not certain of this, but I would venture to guess Lance is 1/2” - 1” (one-half inch to an inch) taller than Will Campbell - which is saying something because Big Will is listed at 6’6” on his 247/Rivals profiles.

Lance is pretty athletic as well, played WR in Junior High at probably 6”5 230. He’s every bit of 6’6”

He actually weighs less than he did at start of sophomore year. It’s pretty good weight too at the moment.

I believe this comment as well.

Again, Heard’s junior year highlights reflect an OL that is in good physical shape without a gut hanging over his waist line. The kid ain’t fat!!

He’s a good looking prospect, and there’s a reason he is currently rated No. 180 overall recruit by the composite.

If he continues to develop at LT as a senior, there’s a chance he will be a top-100 OT next year.

I hope you are right because I heard the exact opposite from a Neville coach, said the kid wants and needs to get out of Louisiana because of a toxic home life and wants to put distance between him and the problems in his life

Straight from his mouth within the last two hours.
I’m pretty close to him. Don’t live with him, but know nothing of a toxic home life.

Good to hear then, I had just assumed the coach knew what he was talking about, I hope he ends up a Tiger because that same coach was saying he is going to be really good

Attaboy 369. 3 Potential Starters.
Wilfong said ND has 10 guys on the OL in the last 2 classes that can actually play.

I believe that. BK has recruited the O-line extremely well at ND the last five (5) years or so.

Without question, they are deep enough to let go of a couple big uglies w/out even missing a beat!!

More than anything at that position group, we need a Center badly. Hoping we at least end up with Zeke Correll. I believe that kid could be our starting center week one (1) versus FSU!!

That’s all fine and good, but we need to make any P5-level in-state OL recruit a priority, even if they are just being brought in for depth/development. Since there usually aren’t many, we need to lock down any who are good enough.
