Bo Harris - (Captain Shreve HS; Shreveport) All SEC and starting LB for Cincinnati Bengals for several years in late 70's and early 80's. Not sure if he had any all-pro years, but was a tremendous LB and athlete.

I was probably the best, in my humble opinion.

I was so good that no college thought they had a shot at me, so no one ever offered. I was gonna play some NFL ball, but decided to stick around LSU and DOMINATE intramurals.

I think Shawn Bailey from John Curtis was a Four Star Bust and I think that Gregg Dubroc was a Four or Five Star from John Curtis. Shawn Bailey never did anything at Linebacker and Dubroc played Linebacker but never lived up to the hype he had coming out of Curtis. Dubroc and Bailey were hyped to be All Americans at Linebacker. Give me Shawn Burks who was a no star and made All American!!!

Played for the Rams too, I think.

He coached my high school for a while, he was an a-hole.

I believe there was not a star system in 1998, but he was a Parade All-American. McConathy and Sanders were just as good in high school.

Eric Hill or Toby Caston? Both probably predated the star system.

I don't know who was the highest rated LBer coming out of high school, but Michael Brooks was the best I have ever seen at LSU. He was unblockable.
