BDP is a great defensive coach. It will be difficult for teams to put up points on the NSU defense this upcoming season.

I know he's got a little girl because he used to bring her to work all the time..maybe she'll break the gender barrier in a few years.

I think Peveto is way more suited for this level than big time college football. His defenses when Sam Goodwin was here were pretty damn solid so maybe he'll catch lightning in a bottle again.

He's gotta find a new OC because Dan Werner resigned after his wife died so he could stay closer to his kids in Mississippi.

Looks as if BDP will be running a new purple SWARM down at NSU!

Honestly, Bradley got the job because everybody in Natchitoches loves him and his family. It's a ploy to try to get fan support back up because nobody cares about Northwestern, tbh.

He's already a much bigger hit with alums and people like that than Stoker was in years of coaching here, and Stoker was a goddamned record setting QB for NSU in his day.

Stoker's just a prickly fellow. He's great when you sit and talk x's and o's but otherwise..

Peveto's defenses his first time around were pretty good. I'm not really sure what happened to him.

keep me updated. I looked at a mock draft the other day and was up to Round 4 and not listed. My guess is because he probably didn't know what the frick he was talking about anyway.

You won't find any with him. He's under the radar outside of the scouts. He's only doing the lineman drills and Bench press because of the knee. I didn't realize how strict the combine is. Essentially, the teams have rented out a hotel. Only team personnel and players are allowed. No agents, no family, no public. Everyday he has something. The physical day will suck. All day is physicals conducted by every team.

I'm hoping Peveto recruits locally a little better than Stoker did. Leesville has way more athletes going to McNeese than NSU, which is a shame considering it's a lot closer to Natchitoches.

We don't know anymore. I think pro day at school will help though. He received a call from a friend working for an NFL team and was told that his stock was high enough so don't do any drills he didn't feel a 100% in. The waiting game is on.

Regardless of what some say Peveto was a good DC at Northwestern... didnt he put a few DB's in the NFL, including Terrance Mcgee from buffalo? I think (atleast hope) he does well there.
