I feel you. I'm normally a pretty laid back guy, and they had me so aggravated the other day I was throwing out ban bets and nearly escalated it to a meeting at the Sonic of their choice.
I have since rediscovered my Zen and no longer want to drink wine out of the skulls of my vanquished foes.

Relax brother. Most folks felt like Kelly was an average recruiter when he took the LSU job. All he's done since then was hold onto some top flight players in that first class, supplement the roster with a huge portal class and land a top 5 class last year in his first full group. Don't get freaked out by the Kelly cant 'cruit narrative because since he's been at LSU, he's done really well.
ETA: Also important to note is how much these rankings will shuffle before all is said and done. Ondre Evans was an unknown 3 star a month or so ago. Pimpton last year was under the radar for awhile. Whit Weeks was "why are we taking this DJ Welter clone just because his brother is here?" until he became a top 100 player and then everybody celebrated it. Lots will shake out before all is said and done.

This year is his true first full year of recruiting. But even last year we were in the mix for a lot of top players. This year its not as much. Need it to improve not regress. Portal is part of it but that will saturate also. Not hitting the panic button but its money time. The bash is a big selling event. And yes we will see a lot of rating shifting and flipping in the fall but most stay where they committed first.

One or more of the recruiting services ranked schools with high school players and Portal Transfers. A total, last year LSU was at the top. The combination of players, were better than anyone.
As for now, we will see this continuation within the program, with Kelly. Every place he’s been, he’s built and restructured his roster. This won’t change.

I'm sure they will that is probably biggest boxing match of the year. It will be a great opportunity for current players, recruits, and coaches to cap the night off together.
