I agree. I love JT, he is 100% going to play. Just don’t think it’s at SS.

Not really that bad for a collegiate SS.

It’s good. And he was at .966 this year which is really good imo. SS is usually going to have the lowest % on the team due to volume. Same % as Jalen Battles at Arkansas and he’s an elite defender

JT is a true Tiger and will start some where on the infield. His hitting really improved late in the season.

I don't know why people are giving up on JT. People on here have short memories apparently.

960 would be bad for an entire team, but for a shortstop, its good. Mostly because of the level of difficulty on alot of the plays they have to make

I am not giving up on him. Just slide over to 2nd and he fits right in. JT is a gamer and should be in the line up just not as a SS. This guy is an up grade. Fans are bitching about last years defense well Jay is making moves to improve it.

People say JT to second but what about third base…

I like JT at 3rd. He has a cannon and I think he could handle the position well.

I wanted him at 2nd, but 2nd is a good position for several other guys that we will want in the lineup.

So I can see how 3rd makes sense.

I can agree with this. He overthrew Tre a lot at 1st but maybe the throw across the diamond from 3B would work better.

JT did have some clutch AB's throughout the year, especially walkoff against OU, but he also grounded into a million double plays with RISP.

I'm not a fan of JT, and I watched every inning of every game this season. I played baseball my entire life and can tell you there are better SS's out there.
