Bastrop 2020 defensive lineman...

Anybody know anything about Denterrius McHenry a 2020 defensive lineman from Bastrop. He’s in the 6-4 300 lb range. Played end as a sophomore. Big athletic kid that’s a good basketball player as well. I really thought this kid would be getting big time looks by now...

Ive heard about him also.
That staff out at Bastrop has been bad. They arent developing players to be elite like they were just 9-10 years ago or so.
Moore is a perfect example. Also the receiver at TCU.
The kid is a superior athlete but seems to be more interested in basketball from what I know. Unless he grows another 6 inches he better stick with football for his bread and butter.

You are correct. I went to the Neville Bastrop game last year and Bastrop had athletes all over the field however they had zero coaching. They got inside the 10 yard line 3 times but never score a point

Looks like Adrian Burnette was named the fourth HC in four years at Bastrop last year.
Then, he was fired on January 8, 2018.
Then, he was reinstated January, 2018.

I wouldn't blame a talented kid for transferring. The adults can't get it together up there.
