Yes, he's been to Louisville, Ohio State, UCLA, UK and others. I agree that this guy doesn't sound like he knows what he's talking about. However, that is just one sample I posted. There is a premium article on Scout that basically has the same info -- no mention of LSU.
I did find one article that said LSU was one of the first schools to contact him after midnight on the opening night of the contact period. That was the only mention of LSU I could find.

Well at this stage I don't expect to land guys with that offer list that aren't in LA.

I agree. I'm not making a big deal out of it. Just passing on information.
As we have discussed, this class is PF/C heavy and I think Martin and Jones are at the top of LSU's list, as they should be.
I would be happy substituting Karviar Shepherd for Jones, but would like Martin and one of those two. Throw in a couple of guards and that's a nice class.

I would like for LSU to go 3 PF/C and one SG/SF
Martin can play the 3-5 at times, and having 3 bigs i think all would get PT.

Probably has been posted earlier in this thread, but @JayJayESPN tweeted that, " Julius Randle also told me that LSU has started a relationship with him. "
Nothing big here, just good to know that Coach Jones is getting LSU's name out there and going after top notch players.

LSU has offered PG Tyler Ennis, as of May 2nd. Probably way late on this as well.
Tyler Ennis 4* # 5 PG

LSU has offered several point guards, plus has been recruiting David Taylor as well. I wonder about them now that Collins is on board.

Never mind. The article is from December. Then again, what if he still has them in mind despite coaching change. Oh well.

RT @insidemdsports: LSU just offered Baltimore 2014 standout Dwayne Morgan, per @BMoreUAFinest.

As soon as we can close out 2012, I will start a 2014 thread.
Basically just waiting on Odoh, and/or possibly a graduate transfer.

2015 kid Jones is recruiting.
Cassius Peat.
He's listed as one of the top 20 2015 football players too.
Didn't know where to put but thought you'd like the info.

Rousse is also working with LSU running backs Alfred Blue and Kenny Hilliard and has worked with Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and Detroit Pistons forward Greg Monroe, who’s from Marrero. One of his newer clients is current St. Aug star Craig Victor, who’s one of the most sought-after high school basketball players in the country as he prepares to begin his junior season.
“Regardless of what sport they play, everybody has the same goal — to jump higher and run faster,” Rousse said. “If you can run and jump, you can play anywhere in America. But the training is also very sport-specific and position-specific.”
Victor, who got his first recruiting letter from Baylor when he was in eighth grade, is on virtually every major basketball program’s program radar. He was at an AAU game in Arkansas recently when newly hired LSU assistant Robert Kirby, who had been recruiting him for Georgetown, walked into the gym wearing LSU garb, accompanied by new Tigers head coach Johnny Jones.
“I liked coach Jones and his staff,” Victor said. “I’m going to be looking to see what they do as a program this year. I’m going to be watching a lot of college basketball next season.”
A lot of recruiters and scouts will be watching the players who are going the extra mile this summer.

Battle In The Rock ... Kirby was hired right as this began. Was nice to be at an AAU tournament and actually see LSU there. Tulane, SELU and others sitting behind them at times. Josh Pastner, Shaka Smart, and plenty of others were watching Victor and the NO Elite as well.

Bubba, how far does LSU's "brand", basketball wise reach right now? Mason-Dixon? TX? Do you forsee a stretch to the NE? or will time only tell?
