Identify opponents booster-bagmen, get burner phone(s), text recruit claiming you're that bagman with a new burner, tell recruit there will be no more funds/gifts because you've found someone better.
I think, more like suspect, similar tactics have been used against us before. Case in point would be Ricky Seals Jones.

Antwan Odom from bayou LA barre in al made three As in math during summer to qualify at spuat. No friggin way. Took unsupervised or take home tests depending on the teachers. This straight from his coach.
