I agree, get Jimbo here first and the recruiting will still be at least good this year, and even better starting in 2018.
Just have a feeling now that Strong is out at Texas, Herman is likely to go there.
Like others, I still think Tigers have a shot at Wilson, but hope that all the current commits stick with LSU, which will be a challenge to keep all of them. But Jimbo or whoever is selected head coach, will put LSU in the running for other top notch recruits that might not have picked LSU otherwise.

Word is Wilson's mom now loves LSU no matter who the coach is but they have almost zero relationship with Herman. And Auburn had been gaining momentum with Buggs for a while now.

The SEC is weak, not sure what you've been watching but it's been Alabama and the 13 dwarves for a hot bit now. The SEC isnt what it once was recently.
How pathetic is it Alabama loses most to their team to the NFL, starts a true freshman QB and still easily goes undefeated in the conference?
