Correct and he got it a week or two ago once 247 updated their rankings. He moved like 30 spots in 247 which put him over the edge! #BFND reppin my alum Cy-Fair

I don't much about 247. What really matters the composite or the overall rating? If you don't mind me asking.

The composite is basically the overall ranking of the four main recruiting services. I'm more concerned with the opinions of the LSU staff and happy to have Austin on board.

The composite is the most objective obviously. However most would agree that 247 is the best and most accurate service

The only reason I see why Shelvin has lost his star is because to some scouts he is carrying bad weight (which in my opinion will just be converted to muscle when he reaches a college strength and conditioning program). He is still explosive and has good footwork, just needs to drop some weight.

Shelving weighed in at like 375 at the opening. He needs to drop around 50 pounds.

Calm down. I think that number is much closer to 25 or 30. Tyler Shelvin is a large man. Just wait until the end of his senior season.

That's not a real thing. He can lose the fat and build the muscle and weigh the same number, which will take longer than not having the fat and just putting on more muscle to begin with

Not necessarily. The fat will fall off pretty quick if he sticks to a good diet and he can build muscle by hitting the weights hard. Trust me. I'm a testament to that.
