Yes Jabril Cox. When you are a grad transfer you have to keep a certain GPA or the school can not have another grad transfer for a year. Word is Jabril stopped participating in class so will end with a GPA under the standard, therefore meaning LSU can not have a Graduate Transfer. This is “NOT” saying you can’t have a regular undergraduate transfer.
In normal years that is probably the case. But considering last year was a "free year" in terms of eligibility, I don't know if he would be coming to LSU as a "grad transfer". Even if so, I suspect there would be a covid exception made. Hell, it's been an excuse for EVERYTHING else for the last 10 months!

on 1/11/21 at 11:50 am to RidiculousHypeI guess the question is whether a graduated player can transfer under the special case covid eligibility rules or if the pre-existing grad transfer rules would take precedence. It's all in how that crap is worded in the legal documentation. Someone at our athletic department should probably be laying eyes on those policies and looking for potential loopholes, because I guarantee you there's at least 5 shadow staffers at Bama doing that right now.

That’s NOT how LSU Compliance Dept works at all. They only look for the ways that prevent us from making these sorts of moves.
