I’m waiting for a kid to make a de-commitment video.

You know it’s coming.
In place of “the end” will be a fade out of “respek my decision”

Yikes. It won't be popular with the board, as they are dead set on Milton or Evans.

Now in terms of reality, he looks like a great back. I'd be really excited if we end up getting him.

I’m fine with Clayton as our sole RB.

Evans is going to go to bama. Milton will be a tough pull from California.

Clayton is a solid back sort of like a kenny Hilliard or nick brosette type.

Maybe it could help with Van Pran?

LSU isn't getting either of those 5* guys.

Ashaad runs a 4.37.

Brossette runs a 4.77

I hope to God he's more of an athlete than Brossette was....

I'm a little confused with the Kenny Hilliard comparison too. Hilliard was in the 235-240 range and Ashaad is 200lbs.

He looks a lot like Etienne in size, style and ability to me.

I wish.

It always baffles me when people start throwing around 40 times like 4.4’s and 4.5’s for high school kids like it’s nothing.

Like do people watch the NFL combine?

These are the best of the best of college football players who are at their peak athleticism AND train for months on how to run the fastest 40 time AND run in special light shoes and track clothing.

And even they have a hard time running 4.4’s and 4.5’s.

Where are these numbers coming from? Lol

I could be wrong, but neither of these seem accurate

Ok. Well, Brossette had his 40 listed at 4.77 coming out of high school. He ran a 4.72 at the combine so that was great to see that 4 years at a top tier program improved his speed by .05 seconds.

Even if Clayton runs a 4.5, it is still significantly faster than Brossette. Hilliard ran a 4.85 and had a solid 30 lbs on Clayton coming out of HS, so that's even worse of a comparison.

All that to say, comparing Clayton to either one of those backs is horribly inaccurate.

Recruiting websites & articles about the athletes.

Unless you're out there with a stopwatch, I'm not sure what other sources you would use.

Ones that are accurate. I do agree he looks to be much more than a brosette type guy. I like his game.

Assad runs a 4.37 in highshool.

They all run a 4.37 in hs. Come nfl combine time, they run a 4.6.

I would have no problem with Ashaad jumping aboard.

I don't think he is quite the talent that Emery and Davis-Price are but he will be a nice addition to the class.
