Are all of the football scholarship agreements for 4 years?

As much as you have been involved in this, you are just now finding out these are for 1 year at a time?

It’s not even a 1 year agreement.

The power 5 conferences agreed years ago to not pull scholarships based on inadequate athletic performance but kids get encouraged to leave. NCAA allows for multiple year scholarships but few are given.

This only applies to players who receive aid when they first enroll. Scholarships awarded to walk ons can be non-renewed for any reason.
