This whole Arch isn’t coming because Howard makes no sense.
Alabama has Simpson
Clemson has Klubnik
Georgia has Stockton
Texas has Murphy.
The only one that you could argue is Murphy. All of those other guys have higher 247 ratings than Howard. And have beaten Howard out at certain camps.(Although I don’t put a ton of stock into that.)
He will sit no matter where he goes unless it’s Ole Miss.
Besides, Arch and Walker are friends. Walker will be working on him to be the successor.
Our current wideouts look amazing. We will get Sampson and Miller in his class.
I think the head Coach is the biggest reason we don’t get him.. but if there was to be a change.. Kiffin, Brady or a known offensive guru could change the tides in LSU’s favor. Peetz will help our cause as well.

I hear through back channels that LSU has been in contact with Kiffin. From some people who are close to the program they say that Kiffin would take the LSU job with a pay cut. He thinks he can put up an Alabama type of dynasty with lousiana talent. Take it for what it’s worth

I'd take lane kiffen and if you think about it, there aren't any huge names out there.
Kiffen would have us with a top 5 offense.
He would get an elite d coordinator and talent at lsu.
Honestly would be a dynasty. Saban would hate it.

The mannings have been great ambassadors for the city of New Orleans, and they would never let a rivalry get in the way of their own chances for success. Arch is going to go wherever he thinks will best prepare him for his NFL future, and the Ole Miss/LSU rivalry will have no bearing in any way towards that decision
