It was always going to be a long shot to get a Manning to LSU, IMO.
If an offensive minded coach such as Kiffin were to become the head coach before he firmly commits, perhaps he would reconsider LSU. It looks over for now.

His family hates Lane Kiffen, so Ole Miss is questionable but...see below! Also, with family that went to Ole Miss and Tennesse...Alabama is Out! It is a 3 team race with Clemson, Texas and Georgia. However, they love Sarkisian but that program is in shambles. Clemson has DJ Uiagalelei at least for another season if not 2 and Georgia has 2 young quarterbacks as well.
With that said, the fact that Ole Miss looks like the easiest road to start early...it could be them but if I guessed...I would say Texas due to early playing time and them joining the SEC! Sort of a hey SEC we are here with a Manning kind of thing!

But this is our most likely 2023 QB recruit if we stay in-state for it. I saw some highlights of their first game against University Lab and I will say he definitely needs to hit the weight room. Listed at 6'3, 185 but he looked more about 170-175 I'd say. Only a junior though so plenty of time to get bigger and stronger.

No Manning will ever come to LSU. I don't think most understand the hatred between Ole Miss and LSU when Archie played.
