I'm going to assume you are Topcat.

I know you went on to accomplish great things as a Demon, breaking Carron's records, but did anything you do in college ever feel as satisfying as the Franklin play.

Yep...watching my son ball out is the only thing more gratifying than beating Franklin in 88

An old teammate of mine called me two Fridays ago, saying he heard an interview with you, and they mentioned you were from NI.

I had been telling a lot of friends about your son after viewing your film and hearing about his track times. When I heard where you were from, I said he's gotta be related to Edwin.

I called my brother, who was your starting QB that year, and asked about any relatives of yours. And he said I think his given name was Edward. CS is in Zachary now, and as you may remember, he was at McNeese before Kerry and Fontenette.

I think I graduated before you started by a year. I saw where Dylan was getting some DB work. Wouldn't happen to be Ro-D working with him, huh?

If he goes pro, that would be such a dumb decision. But nothing would surprise me at this point.

Not really considering Moses is already big enough to play at LSU, whereas everybody was counting on Bridgewater to grow another 4+ inches and he never did.

Many times these kids just mature real early. They don't improve much afterwards.

I asked someone about CS a few weeks ago! I haven't seen him in a long time...tell him I said hello! I am Edward there is no Edwin! they pronounced my name wrong in high school ! No we are. Not working with Ro-D, We only work with Him at the Summer Camp. I have Dylan working with a young man who currently plays pro football. My hope is that he will transition from LB/Rb to corner as he gets older...#fingers crossed

Yeah, but when it comes to Moses, he doesn't need to grow anymore. He is already bigger than a lot of NFL backs and faster too.

Your point is understood but its still very early. Anything can happen in 4 years. Any teenager can see their athletic career cut short for any number of reasons. I just don't see the need to rush an 8th grader into the spotlight. Also it's going to get real ugly for any kid who gets that much attention if 1. They don't live up to expectations 2. They decide to go somewhere besides LSU

The Moses kid has a HUGE target on him. And from now on he wont be playing against fifty pound 5th graders! Thats why I say save the hype until he's proved himself!

Told him on the phone a few minutes ago. He's with his boy at a baseball tournament in Denham Springs, and they're in the finals.

He said to tell you the same. He's got a daughter playing select volleyball who just scored a 25 on her ACT in the 7th grade, so things are going real well for he and his family right now.

We'll all be following Dylan a little closer now.

J, my advice after seeing a kid close to me that was highly recruited is to make sure his academics are up front. If your kid is that talented everything else will come. Best of luck to you and your family and I forgive you and the meatheads in this thread for HiJacking my OP.

CS was a pitcher in HS too...it no wonder his son is doing his thing in Baseball! 25 on the ACT wow yes I would say life is going pretty good in his camp...hopefully Dylan will continue to perform as he gets older I am working him from all angles these days!

He's a pretty similar player to Shavon Coleman. If he can be effective at times, I don't see how Bridgewater can't.
