Sorry LuckyLee, your logic is really poor.

If superstar Julio got 950 yards from a senior QB, isn't it logical that he won't see that much yardage next year?

And where would that leave Randle? Blocking for an RB?

Next year's QB is a RS junior.

FWIW, SJPW only had roughly 60% more attempts than JJ did.

Fail again lucky but what's new?

And he had 9 attempts n '07 with 1 Td. That's 20 attempts, which is basically 1 game for JJ.

Wow 9 attempts in 07 that's serious time. Keep reaching

So what's your point? Let's wait and see how Opie does when he gets appreciable PT and then we'll evaluate him?

ETA: Because up until now he's been a huge bust.

Call me crazy, but doesn't LSU have 2 QBs on the roster with appreciably more experience than those on Bama's roster?

For that matter, the guy that should have been an elder statesman at the QB position at Bama is now expected to be the starting QB at Rice next season.

hey meatstick. Did you see JJ play?? playing expirience aside he is absolutely a great talent. Has all the measurables with great decision making, great wheels and a riffle arm. I would take him over pryor in a heartbeat. HE HAS THE IT FACTOR. Are you that confident about your qb. Now that he knows the playbook i have no doubt in my mind that he will turn into one of the best quaterbacks ever at lsu.

BTW why the hell are we even comparing julio and tolliver?? Julio was absolutley college ready when he came out of high school. Tolliver was a bean pole. He also had trouble learning his routes. And lets not forget julio had a 5th year senior throwing to him this year while we lost our top 2 qb's. He was also behind doucet, byrd, lafell the year before.

gumps are idiots. If you want to pimp your team do that shite on the sec rant.

alright, i am done making sense.

Julio Jones is better than any WR on LSU's roster.

...and couldn't score a TD over the last 9 games...and only 4 the entire year...with a Senior QB. That's kind of the point.

Brandon Lafell, who you think is an inferior WR, with a QB situation which was about as bad as possible had 8 TDs.

Randle probably wants more than his share of those 9 TDs Bama will dole out through the air.

This was a post about RR choosing a school. I figured I'd break up the LSU circle jerk.

yea i guess you dumb arse didn't see him throwing dirt bombs and lining up at wr in the fiesta bowl

Oh yea JJ had a terrible game in the peach. He would absolutely be a five star talent if he was not injured his junior year. But you wouln't know that i guess

I don't care who is the QB and how many WR's LSU has. It makes no sense for an elite WR to go to BAMA at his time. There are limited yards and TD's in a Saban offense and Julio Jones has the lions share of them spoken for.

Any elite receiver going there will play second fiddle for at least 2 more years (if JJ leaves early) and probably 3 more.

RR = LSU Lock.....Where he can understudy to Brandon Lafell and solidify his standing as one of college footballs best WR's in Gary Crowton's offense.

End of thread.

I wouldn't even argue that.

Hell, if anyone knows about a QB "managing the game" it's a Bama fan in 2008.

You act like this hurts. At least we made a BCS game. You went 7-5 while scheduling 4 absolute nobodies OOC. Imagine if you scheduled someone last year.-
